Az angol lányegyüttes Spice Girls harmadik és egyben utolsó stúdióalbuma, amelyet 2000. november 1-jén adott ki a Virgin Records. Ez az egyetlen albumuk Geri Halliwell nélkül, aki később, 2007-ben újra csatlakozott a csoporthoz a Greatest Hits albumukon.
A Forever a második helyen végzett a brit albumlistán, ezzel a csoport egyetlen stúdióalbuma lett, amely nem került fel a brit slágerlisták élére. Később a Brit Fonográfiai Ipar (BPI) platinalemez minősítést kapott. Az album mindössze a 39. helyet érte el az amerikai Billboard 200-as listán. Világszerte több mint kétmillió példányban kelt el, ami kereskedelmi szempontból csalódást jelentett a két korábbi, Spice és Spiceworld című albumukhoz képest.
A vezető és egyetlen kislemez, a dupla A-oldalas "Holler" és a "Let Love Lead the Way" az Egyesült Királyság kislemezlistájának élén debütált, ezzel a csoport kilencedik listavezető kislemeze lett. Az 1998-as karácsonyi kislemezük, a "Goodbye", amely majdnem két évvel korábban jelent meg, szintén szerepelt az albumon záródalként. HÁTTÉR

Az 1998 eleji Spiceworld turné során a csoport egy kezdeti projektet vállalt, melynek keretében dalokat írt és vett fel egy lehetséges harmadik albumra és egy élő albumra. Az album eredeti koncepciója az volt, hogy szóló dalokat, duetteket és feldolgozásokat mutassanak be mind az öt tag részvételével, hogy népszerűsítsék azt az elképzelést, hogy a Spice Girls mindannyian egyéniségek, mégis képesek eggyé válni. A lányok a dublini Windmill Lane Studiosba mentek régi munkatársaikkal, Richard Stannarddal és Matt Rowe-val, hogy egy új albumon dolgozzanak, és mesterfelvételeket készítsenek egy élő albumhoz. Geri Halliwell hirtelen távozásával a projekt jelentős fordulatot vett, a már elkészített dalok közül sokat töröltek, az élő albumot pedig törölték.
A Spice Girls 1998 júliusában, a Spiceworld turné észak-amerikai szakaszán vette fel karácsonyi kislemezét, a "Goodbye"-t. A lányok ismét Stannarddal és Rowe-val álltak össze. A következő évben felvették a "My Strongest Suit"-ot az Aida című musical koncepcióalbumához. Az album felvételei 1999 közepén kezdődtek, és az album első számait az Abbey Road Stúdióban rögzítették Stannarddal és Rowe-val. A zenekar augusztusban és szeptemberben is folytatta a munkát a számokon, Eliot Kennedyvel a Steelworks Stúdióban, Rodney Jerkinsszel, Jimmy Jammel és Terry Lewisszal pedig a Whitfield Street Stúdióban. Ezeket a felvételeket követően az albumon végzett munka szünetelt. Melanie Chisholm elkezdte népszerűsíteni első szólóalbumát, a Northern Star-t, amely októberben jelent meg, és a csoport megkezdte a Christmas in Spiceworld turné előkészületeit, amelyen a "Right Back At Ya", a "W.O.M.A.N." és a "Holler" című számok premierjét mutatták be. A turné után Chisholm folytatta a Northern Star népszerűsítését, a többi tag pedig a saját szólóanyagának előkészítésén dolgozott. A Stannarddal és Rowe-val közös felvételeket végül törölték az albumról, és Kennedy egyetlen fennmaradt hozzájárulása az albumhoz a "Right Back at Ya" volt, amely egy újra felvett, remixelt R&B formában szerepelt az albumon, amelyet Kennedy "unalmas, lomha, alsó fiókos R&B dalnak" nevezett. Egy David Sinclair életrajzíróval készített interjúban Stannard csalódottságát fejezte ki a „W.O.M.A.N.” kihagyása miatt: „Szerintem a dal szövegileg nagyon érdekes volt, mert a lányokból a nőkké való átmenetet mutatta be, ami Matttel együtt úgy gondoltuk, itt az ideje, hogy megtegyék. KRITIKA

A Forever vegyes kritikákat kapott a zenekritikusoktól. A Metacriticnél, amely egy normalizált, 100-as skálán mért értékelést rendel a mainstream kiadványok kritikáihoz, az album átlagosan 45 pontot kapott kilenc értékelés alapján. Egy vegyes kritikában James Hunter, a Rolling Stone munkatársa kifejezte, hogy „A Forever valószínűleg valahol a kettő között fog reakciót kiváltani – egy kivételtől eltekintve, ez egyszerűen rendben van”. A zenekritikusoknak vegyes véleményeik voltak a lemez hangzásbeli változásáról a csoport korábbi kiadványaihoz képest. 2025. október 6-án a Spice Girls bejelentette harmadik stúdióalbumuk, a Forever 25. évfordulós újrakiadását, melynek címe Forever25, hivatalos weboldalukon, üzletükben és közösségi média csatornáikon keresztül. A kiadás az album eredeti amerikai megjelenési dátumát állítja emlékbe, és a változatlan eredeti producercsapat szerepel rajta, a masteringen semmilyen konkrét változtatás nélkül.
Az újrakiadás kizárólag limitált kiadású, piros és fekete márvány bakelit LP-ként kapható, amely ugyanazt a 10 számot tartalmazza, mint a 2000-es eredeti. 2025. november 7-én jelent meg, és négy exkluzív, gyűjthető művészeti nyomatot tartalmaz, amelyek a csoportot ábrázolják. GOODBYE

1998. május 31-én Geri Halliwell bejelentette kilépését a Spice Girlsből. Ügyvédjén keresztül kijelentette: „Sajnos szeretném megerősíteni, hogy kiléptem a Spice Girlsből. HOLLER

A Spice Girls brit lányegyüttes harmadik stúdióalbumának, a Forevernek (2000) a szerzője. A dalt a csoport írta, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, LaShawn Daniels és Fred Jerkins III közreműködésével, Darkchild pedig producerként is közreműködött. A számot 2000. október 23-án adták ki az Egyesült Királyságban a Virgin Records gondozásában, a Forever című album vezető kislemezeként, valamint dupla A-oldalas kislemezként a "Let Love Lead the Way" című dallal; a csoport korábban, szeptember 11-én mutatta be a dalt hivatalos weboldalán. LET LOVE LEAD THE WAY

Egy dal a brit lányegyüttes Spice Girls-től, a harmadik stúdióalbumukról, a Forever-ről (2000). A dalt a zenekar tagjai írták, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, LaShawn Daniels, Fred Jerkins III és Harvey Mason Jr. közreműködésével, míg a producerkedést Darkchild és Mason Jr. végezte. A szám dupla A-oldalas kislemezként jelent meg a "Holler" című dallal 2000. október 23-án az Egyesült Királyságban a Virgin Records gondozásában, és ez volt a Forever album vezető kislemeze. IF YOU WANNA HAVE SOME FUN
